• First, you give us detail information about your collection
  

• We send a  bill for a Mini-Appraisal. It must be paid before we make an offer. The fee is refundable, if we purchase your collection in its entirety, within six-months of the bid.
  

• Although we may come to a tentative agreement, based on photos and descriptions, no transaction is final until the merchandise is in hand. At which time we catalog and review your collection; only then, will you receive a firm offer.
  

• Collections with less than 200 pieces, mail to The Roamin Roman, Inc. for review. We recommend the seller insure all packages for full value when shipping.
  

• All merchandise is at your own risk until received by an employee of The Roamin’ Roman, Inc. 
  

• WE DO NOT BUY COUNTERFEITS. All counterfeits are returned to the shipper. Although normal shipping methods are used to insured safe delivery, there is no guarantee you will receive your items back. US Customs or Treasury officials can and may confiscate counterfeit items.
  

• You have the right to refuse our final offer. The MINI APPRIASAL fee is then, not refundable. We will return your collection via Insured or Registered mail.
  

LISTING & IMAGING INSTRUCTIONS

Fill out an Item List (sample below) with as much information as known and send images of the primary (key date) and secondary (semi-key date) images. The fastest way for us to get the information is to email the list with attached high-resolution images (.jpeg or .gif files only). However, you may also mail in photocopies with the list.

Email and Scanner Instructions

1.                   Lay coins or currency directly on the flatbed scanner glass

2.                   Set the resolution to 75-100 dpi for currency; or 200-250 dpi for coins

3.                   Close scanner cover and scan at 100%

4.                   Crop picture as close to the edge of the item, without cutting into the item image

5.                   Do not send more than 5 MG in any one email.

Mail and Copier Instructions

1.                   Lay coins or currency directly on the copier glass

2.                   Place a  sheet of white paper over the coins or currency, as a cover sheet

3.                   Close the copier cover and press the copy button

4.                   Mail the pictures with the Item List

5.                   PHOTOGRAPHY: 10-x macro lens and 1/16th inch depth of field-Not Recommended for

Numismatics.
